The purpose of the TGA is to promote and develop golf participation amongst its members. Promoting fellowship, sportsmanship, and comradery without regard to skill and to create and maintain a first class schedule of golf tournaments, and to create a superlative golf experience.
As a member of the TGA you will be eligible to compete for the TGA Player of the Year Award. A year long points race to crown the year's best player. The TGA will hold monthly events as well as social 9 hole events throughout the year. TGA events and social events will include some combination of beverages, tee gifts, and of course cash payouts. TGA members will also be eligible for the Hole in One Pot of $500 which will span the Friday-Sunday games (the Friday through Sunday games are not changing) and monthly events. TGA members will also receive 10% off food at The Tavern and will receive 10% of lessons from select instructors at Georgia Golf Performance.
